Originally named KFM. They changed their name and sound in 2000. The Atom Age Vampyres was born.
They signed with Doctor Cyclops Records in 2010 releasing We've Come for Blood.
Due to progressing health issues with the frontman, they went on hiatus after the release of the Atomic Bloodlust EP In 2016.
Currently the band is only doing studio work.
